Over the first weekend of December, Mackinac Island residents and tourists gathered around the tree in the center of town singing Christmas carols and huddled together keeping warm. 9&10 News even made the tree lighting and interviewed our very own Andrew Doud, watch here! Following the tree lighting ceremony people swarmed into the Mustang Lounge and newly renovated Huron Street Pub for dinner. Also, The Christmas Bazaar hosted a pig roast dinner benefiting the Mackinac island churches and medical center. Saturday was a busy and fun-filled day at the community hall!
