Welcome to our blog! Doud’s Market is the oldest family owned grocery store, dating back to the year 1884 AND America’s oldest grocery store! This year, we celebrated being open for 135 years! For all of those 135 years, Doud’s Market has worked to serve Mackinac Island residents and visitors with care, quality and convenience.
In this slower season, we are enjoying connecting with the winter residents, slower days and looking out the front windows to see the snow starting to fall. We trust that you are warm and cozy, enjoying the beginning of the holiday season with loved ones.
